Senior Quality Assurance Lead

Overview

The Senior Quality Assurance Lead is responsible for driving and managing overall testing strategies and approaches as part of a QA team.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, review, and maintain comprehensive testing documents (test plan, test cases, test reports) to ensure thorough test coverage.
  • Manage the execution of various testing types (functional, integration, end-to-end, performance, etc).
  • Facilitate and participate in regular QA team meetings or triage calls.
  • Contribute to sprint planning and daily stand-ups in Agile environments.
  • Ensure that testing activities remain within agreed scope, schedule, and quality standards by managing risks and deliverables.
  • Collaborate with the project manager and development team to report and escalate relevant testing issues and challenges.
  • Provide estimates of testing activities required for projects or deliverables when needed.
  • Prepare customer demo presentations for project deliverables when required.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience in Software QA.
  • Client-facing experience.
  • Proficiency in bug tracking and test management tools like JIRA/Azure DevOps.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Relevant degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related qualifications.
  • Experience in Agile testing methodologies and best practices.
  • Familiarity with Automation & Accessibility is an asset.
