Job Opportunity: SAP Costing Expert

We are seeking an experienced SAP Costing Consultant to support turnkey projects and new age technologies. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in configuring fiscal year variants, posting periods, and currency settings in SAP S/4HANA.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up and manage sales ledger, purchase ledger, liability accounts, revenue, expense, and equity account.
  • Configure fiscal year variants, posting periods, and currency settings in SAP S/4HANA.
  • Understand cost calculation based on quantity and price per unit in transactional currency.
  • Handle cost objects by period, including the periodic collection and settlement of actual costs.
  • Manage Sales Ledger (Debtor's Ledger) and Purchase Ledger (Creditor's Ledger).
  • Manage Liability accounts such as accounts payable debt and notes payable, Setup Control Revenue expense and equity accounts.

The ideal candidate will have experience in generating detailed cost estimates for new and existing products, performing costing calculations using quantity and pricing, executing costing runs, and modeling estimates via BOMs and routings. You will also manage component structures and analyze target vs. actual costs to support profitability and efficiency.

You will track actual production costs by period and apply inventorial cost principles to ensure accurate inventory valuation. Implement and manage Accounting-Based COPA for Revenue and Distribution Volume reporting, handle billed/unbilled revenue, manual adjustments, and periodic estimates (monthly/quarterly/yearly). Use standard reports (e.g., KE30) to report on distribution revenue and volume.

Requirements:
  • Graduated in any finance-related stream.
  • Proven experience with Product Costing in manufacturing environments (preferably Oil & Gas or Glassware).
  • Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA Financials, CO module integrations, and cloud deployment (Public or Private Cloud).
  • Preferred Certification: SAP Certified in S/4HANA for Financial Accounting or Management Accounting (Controlling).
