About the Role:

In this pivotal position, you will be responsible for implementing and managing SAP Costing solutions in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate should possess expertise in SAP Public/Private Cloud and proficiency in FI-GL, CO-PC (Product Costing), and COPA modules, specifically in Oil & Gas, Glassware, and related industries.

The role involves setting up and managing sales ledger, purchase ledger, liability accounts, revenue, expense, and equity accounts. Additionally, the candidate should be able to configure fiscal year variants, posting periods, and currency settings in SAP S/4HANA, as well as understand cost calculation based on quantity and price per unit in transactional currency.

The selected individual will handle cost objects by period, including the periodic collection and settlement of actual costs. They will also manage Sales Ledger (Debtor's Ledger) and Purchase Ledger (Creditor's Ledger), set up control revenue expense and equity accounts, and generate detailed cost estimates for new and existing products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform costing calculations using quantity and pricing, execute costing runs, and model estimates via BOMs and routings.
  • Manage component structures and analyze target vs. actual costs to support profitability and efficiency.
  • Track actual production costs by period and apply inventorial cost principles to ensure accurate inventory valuation.
  • Implement and manage Accounting-Based COPA for Revenue and Distribution Volume reporting.
  • Handle billed/unbilled revenue, manual adjustments, and periodic estimates (monthly/quarterly/yearly).
  • Use standard reports (e.g., KE30) to report on distribution revenue and volume.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance Product Cost Controlling, Overhead Cost Allocation, and Intercompany Accounting.
  • Develop strategies and blueprints to improve profitability reporting and streamline operations.

Qualification Requirements:

  • Graduated in any finance-related stream.
  • Proven experience with Product Costing in manufacturing environments (preferably Oil & Gas or Glassware).
  • Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA Financials, CO module integrations, and cloud deployment (Public or Private Cloud).
  • Preferred Certification: SAP Certified in S/4HANA for Financial Accounting or Management Accounting (Controlling).
