Financial Systems Specialist Job Description

This position involves implementing and supporting the SAP FICO module, including end-to-end implementations and GST integration. The successful candidate will possess strong functional knowledge of FI sub-modules: Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), Asset Accounting, Bank Reconciliation, and New GL Accounting.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Implementing and supporting the SAP FICO module, including end-to-end implementations and GST integration.
  • Providing functional expertise in FI sub-modules: AR, AP, Asset Accounting, Bank Reconciliation, and New GL Accounting.
  • Supporting Controlling (CO) functions such as Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, and Internal Orders.
  • Integrating SAP FICO with other modules like SD, MM, and PP.
  • Assisting with monthly and year-end financial closings, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Preparing and reviewing Functional Specifications for developments and enhancements.
  • Collaborating with technical teams to develop customized reports and ensure alignment with business requirements.
