Leading Our Backend Team
We are seeking a seasoned Backend Technical Lead to oversee the development and maintenance of our microservices architecture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Designing and implementing new microservice architectures
- Maintaining, monitoring, and improving the quality of existing microservices
- Collaborating with managers and VPs on regular reporting
- Reviewing code with senior engineers on design principles and best practices
- Creating project timelines with VP, Managers, and Product team based on team member workload
Requirements:
- 6+ years of experience as a Backend Engineer
- 2+ years of experience working as a Technical Lead, managing teams
- Experience with Java or Golang programming languages
- Knowledge of MongoDB, MySQL, Postgre databases
- Experience with Redis, Memcached, Elastic Search, Linux syntax, CI/CD, Docker, Kafka, RabbitMQ, system refactoring
- Strong system design skills
- Excellent leadership skills, inspiring and motivating teammates
- Good sense of prioritization
