Job Title

A highly skilled and experienced Quality Assurance Team Lead is sought to oversee the quality of underwriting operations. This individual will be responsible for ensuring that all audits are conducted accurately and efficiently, and that any issues or discrepancies are addressed promptly.

Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of quality assurance analysts in performing independent audits on underwriting work done by business process outsourcing (BPO) partners.
  • Oversee the quality of audit findings for complex underwriting cases, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
  • Monitor team productivity and manage audit sampling volumes to ensure timely completion of reviews and continuous capability development.
  • Collaborate with process owners, compliance, and training teams to identify root causes and recommend corrective/preventive actions.
  • Prepare regular reports and performance dashboards for senior leadership, including trend analysis and issue logs for internal governance.
  • Develop and implement QA frameworks, standards operating procedures (SOPs), and controls tailored to specific lines of business.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree required; insurance certifications like ACII, CPCU preferred.
  • 10-12 years of experience in P&C industry operations lead roles, including 4+ years overseeing QA function and managing high-performing teams.
  • Proven expertise in underwriting processes for different geography regions (UK, Europe, MENA & APAC) and business lines.
  • Familiarity with vendor governance and multi-tier QA environments.
