Senior ASIC/SoC RTL Engineer

As a Senior ASIC/SoC RTL Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing Application Specific Integrated Circuits (ASICs) and System-on-Chip (SoCs). Our team focuses on quality and efficiency in the development of complex digital systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design Leadership: Lead the design of SoC subsystems and IPs with expertise in Verilog/System Verilog.
  • RTL Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough RTL quality checks including Lint and CDC analysis to ensure the highest quality standards are met.
  • Low Power Optimisation: Apply knowledge of low power design techniques and synthesis tools to create power-efficient designs.
  • Interface Protocol Expertise: Have an excellent understanding of interface protocols such as PCIe, DDR, Ethernet, I2C, UART, and SPI.
  • Tool Setup and Usage: Set up and use tools like Spyglass Lint/CDC, Synopsys DC, and Verdi/Xcellium with ease.
  • Scripting Languages: Possess a good understanding of scripting languages like Make flow, Perl, shell, and Python.
  • Processor Architecture Knowledge: Familiarity with processor architecture is desired, especially ARM debug architecture.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in SoC/RISC-V/VLSI design with a strong focus on quality and efficiency.
  • Expertise in Verilog/System Verilog, HDL verification, and simulation.
  • Thorough knowledge of digital logic design, synthesis, and physical design principles.
  • Excellent understanding of timing concepts, clock domain crossing, and metastability.
  • Able to work collaboratively and provide assistance and debugging support for multiple subsystems.
