About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Master Data Management Specialist to join our team in Global Finance GBS Bangalore. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for analyzing and validating master data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and integrity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and validate master data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and integrity.
  • Develop, monitor, and maintain data quality metrics, reports, and dashboards for master data elements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data-related issues and provide insights for continuous improvement.
  • Implement and enforce data governance and quality standards for master data elements.
  • Perform data profiling, cleansing, and enrichment activities to meet business requirements and ensure data accuracy.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of data models, data dictionaries, and documentation for master data elements.
  • Generate master data development reports as per specific business requirements.

Requirements

  • Over 10 years of experience in Master Data Management.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, knowledge in SQL, Alteryx and PowerApps, VBA, Macro, Win shuttle.
  • Skilled in performing data profiling and quality assessment of source systems.
  • Ability to troubleshoot errors related to master data transitions efficiently.
  • Participation in continuous improvement projects within shared services.
  • Understanding of the impact of master data processes on downstream and upstream processes (e.g., P2P, R2R, O2C).
  • Knowledge of SAP Finance module (FI) and low/no code applications is advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of Sarbox approach and audit material.
  • Excellent communication skills (both oral and written).
