Data Engineering Expertise

We seek a seasoned data expert to spearhead our data pipeline initiatives. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Python, SQL, and PySpark, as well as proficiency in software development lifecycle and engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Implement Robust Data Pipelines: for both structured and unstructured data to support data-driven decision making.
  • Collaborate with Cloud Data Warehousing Platforms: Redshift, Snowflake, Databricks SQL or equivalent, and distributed frameworks like Spark.
  • Leverage Databricks Platform: for data engineering, including Delta Lake, Databricks Workflow, Job Clusters, Databricks CLI, and Databricks Workspace.
  • Understand Machine Learning Life Cycle: data mining, and ETL techniques.
  • Apply REST APIs and API Development Frameworks: Flask / FastAPI, and containerization frameworks like Docker / Kubernetes.
  • Develop and Maintain Tools and Libraries: used by multiple teams across the organization.
  • Utilize CI/CD Tools: Jenkins or equivalent, version control: Github, Bitbucket, Orchestration: Airflow, Prefect or equivalent.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in working with Python, SQL, PySpark, and bash scripts.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
