Financial Analyst Job Description

This job posting is for a full-time remote Financial Analyst position at a leading healthcare organization.

The Financial Analyst will be responsible for preparing financial statements, managing the general ledger, performing account reconciliations, assisting with budget and forecasting, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  • Management of the general ledger, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll
  • Performance of account reconciliations, including bank statements and credit card statements
  • Assistance with budget preparation and forecasting, including data analysis and recommendations
  • Ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations, including GAAP and regulatory requirements

Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office suite
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and remotely
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • CPA certification or progress towards CPA is a plus
