Job Title: Pipeline Integrity Specialist

Experience:

  • 5+ years in piping stress analysis and design.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform stress analysis using Caesar II software for pipelines/piping above-ground and underground, and design pipe supports.
  • Identify required data to perform surge analysis for each project stage.
  • Conduct surge analysis of metallic & non-metallic using PIPENET software.
  • Extract surge force from PIPENET and determine its appropriateness.
  • Prepare detailed surge analysis reports for submission to employers.
  • Understand processes and analyze systems for pressure surges, providing recommendations for mitigation.
  • Review technical aspects of stress analysis and pipe support calculations for compliance with industry standards and safe practices.
  • Apply all applicable static and dynamic load cases correctly in stress analysis.
  • Coordinate with non-metallic pipe vendors to obtain correct pipe properties.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of relevant design codes and standards (ASME B31.3, B31.4, B31.8, ISO 14692).
  • Develop job execution plans, work instructions, and standard drawings based on ITB requirements.
  • Estimate man-hours for projects/proposals and allocate tasks to engineers.
  • Control project schedules, quality, and budgeted MANHOUR.
  • Interact with clients/PMC/vendors to resolve key issues.
  • Monitor and adhere to technical requirements and deliverables as per ITB/contract.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in piping stress analysis and design.
  • Strong understanding of stress analysis principles and application of industry standards.
  • Proficiency in Caesar II and PIPENET software.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
