Job Title: Hydraulic Design Manager

About the Role:
  1. We are seeking a highly skilled Hydraulic Design Manager to lead our team in delivering high-quality hydraulic designs for water supply schemes and irrigation projects.
  2. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in design engineering, with a strong background in pipeline hydraulics and software used for same (Water GEMS).
  3. Responsibilities include determinations of water requirement calculations, preparation of zone/water user association block plans, pipeline layout planning, and hydraulic design of water supply schemes and pressurized/gravity pipe distribution network irrigation projects.
  4. Key skills required include knowledge of Water Supply Scheme & Irrigation PDN projects structures, different types of pipes, valves, pumps, design manuals, and relevant IS codes.
  5. Strong communication and leadership skills are essential for this role, as well as experience working with advanced software tools such as Water GEMS, AutoCAD, ArcGIS, and E survey Software.
Requirements:
  • 8 to 10 years of experience in design engineering.
  • B.E. Civil/M. Tech (Water Resources/Irrigation/Environment) qualification.
  • Knowledge of pipeline hydraulics and software used for same (Water GEMS).
  • Experience as design engineer for water supply pipeline project or irrigation projects.
  • Knowledge of Water Supply Scheme & Irrigation PDN projects structures i.e. Intake Well, Jack Well, Sump Cum Pump House, WTP, MBRs, ESRs, GSRs, Thrust blocks and Anchor blocks, etc.
  • Knowledge of different types of Pipes, Valves, Pumps, design manuals and relevant IS codes.
  • Knowledge of Water GEMS, AutoCAD, ArcGIS and E survey Software.
