Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Global Pet Industry Business Development Specialist to drive sales growth, expand business, and deliver exceptional client experiences across international markets.

This individual will take full ownership of assigned international clients, ensuring client retention, exceeding sales targets, and exploring new growth opportunities.

Job Responsibilities
  • Sales Growth & Expansion:
    • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue and growth targets.
    • Actively identify new business opportunities and onboard distributors, resellers, and retail buyers in international markets.
    • Expand our client base by identifying untapped markets and regions with high growth potential.
  • Account Management & Client Relations:
    • Build, nurture, and sustain strong relationships with international clients to drive loyalty and repeat business.
    • Act as the primary point of contact for assigned key accounts, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring an outstanding customer experience.
    • Conduct regular business reviews with clients to discuss performance, sales trends, and areas for mutual growth.
  • Strategic Business Planning:
    • Collaborate with clients on Joint Business Planning (JBP) initiatives to create mutually beneficial growth strategies.
    • Leverage market insights and sales data to identify new opportunities and refine account strategies.
Key Requirements
  • A MBA in Marketing, International Business, or related fields.
  • 3- 4 years of experience in Key Account Management, International Sales, or Business Development within FMCG, B2B, or the pet industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs in an international setting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; proven ability to negotiate deals and build lasting relationships.
  • Analytical thinker with a solution-oriented mindset and the ability to handle complex, fast-paced situations.
Salary Estimate

The estimated salary for this position ranges from ₹20,00,000 to ₹30,00,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
