Loan Operations Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Loan Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth management and servicing of loans across various systems.

About the Role:
  • Thorough understanding of loan product lifecycles with exposure to multiple loan management systems, documentation, closing, funding, and post-closure servicing of transactions.
  • Sound knowledge of loan products, policies, and processes, including documentation requirements, risk systems, limits, and exposure management.
  • Experience in migrating syndicated and bilateral deals to LIQ from other software platforms.
  • Hands-on experience in reviewing legal documents, such as credit agreements, pricing letters, and borrowing notices.
  • Processing outstanding loans/SBLCs, fee accrual booking/manual adjustments, FED/SWIFT payments, generating manual cash flows, and calculating interest and fees.
  • Coordinating funding requests, payments, rollover, nostro reconciliation, and ensuring compliance with agent bank instructions.
  • Collaborating with internal/external stakeholders to ensure daily targets are met and secondary loan trading and settlement activities are conducted efficiently.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with experience in liaising with internal/external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in loan management systems, including LIQ/Flex, and experience with trade finance and treasury operations.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards, particularly in loan origination and servicing.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and deadlines, with a proactive approach to resolving issues.
