Process Optimization Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Process Optimization Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our process improvement team, you will be responsible for conducting detailed analysis and evaluation of existing manufacturing processes.

  • Process Analysis and Improvement
    • Conduct thorough analysis of current manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement.
    • Develop and implement process optimization strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce cycle time, and improve product quality.
  • Collaboration and Communication
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Industrial Engineering, Production, and Quality Assurance, to develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
    • Communicate effectively with production teams to provide training and guidance on processes, procedures, and equipment.
  • Process Control and Monitoring
    • Monitor and analyze process performance metrics, such as cycle time, yield, and scrap rate, to identify opportunities for improvement.
    • Implement process control measures, including statistical process control (SPC) techniques, to ensure consistent quality and reduce process variation.
  • Technical Expertise
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in process engineering technologies, methodologies, and best practices.
    • Provide technical support and troubleshooting expertise to resolve process-related issues and improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
  • Leadership and Innovation
    • Lead process validation activities, including protocol development, execution, and documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
    • Participate in cross-functional teams to drive root cause analysis, corrective actions, and preventive measures.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in process engineering or a related field.
  • Proven track record of successfully improving manufacturing processes and increasing efficiency.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
