Job Description

This position is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service support via phone calls, ensuring timely resolution of inquiries and issues.

  • Outbound calls to insurance companies and end customers to verify eligibility, obtain prior authorization, and request missing or incomplete payer information, ultimately facilitating a seamless transaction experience.
  • Inbound calls require working as part of a collaborative team, providing professional customer service using various communication methods to resolve customer enquiries, payments, and complaints at the first point of contact.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Assess and resolve customer inquiries, requests, and complaints primarily over the telephone, aiming to resolve customer issues at the first point of contact.
  • Exercise sound judgment and make informed decisions within established procedures for each service request, including logging, processing, and tracking inquiries. Adhere to agreed Key Performance Indicators, Service Level Agreements, and quality standards to maximize customer satisfaction.
  • Manage and update customer interactions daily, generated through workflows and queues, on an account-wise basis.
  • Achieve key and critical performance targets.
  • Ensure efficiency measures are met in accordance with performance targets and process guidelines.
  • Utilize business tools and industry knowledge updates to identify problem areas and document business requirements through various updates and training sessions.
  • Maintain effective work procedures according to client process workflows and policy guidelines.
  • Adhere to US healthcare compliance measures.
