Job Title: Production Manager

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented leader to oversee the day-to-day operations of our manufacturing unit. This is a critical role that requires a deep understanding of production processes, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record of driving efficiency and quality improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

">
  • Lead and oversee all production activities on the shop floor to ensure timely output, maintain high product quality, and minimize waste and rework.">
  • Supervise job placement, material flow, and stage-wise movement during fabrication and assembly, ensuring seamless execution of production plans.">
  • Design and execute layout plans for new lines/projects, including fixtures, gauges, and equipment installations, to optimize production workflows and improve product quality.">
  • Maintain and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), daily production reports, machine logs, and breakdown records to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.">
  • Manage in-process inventory and maintain an efficient flow across the production chain to minimize stockouts, overstocking, and associated costs.">
  • Collaborate closely with R&D and design teams to onboard new products and structure types efficiently, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruptions to production schedules.">
  • Monitor production costs and resource utilization to meet predefined budget and timeline goals, identifying areas for cost savings and process improvements.">
  • Enforce strict compliance with Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) standards to ensure a safe working environment and minimize risks to employees, customers, and the environment.">
  • Drive lean manufacturing practices, automation initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve overall business performance.">
  • Ensure adherence to quality benchmarks and industry certifications specific to solar structure manufacturing, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.">

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or equivalent (preferred).">
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in solar structure manufacturing or a related metal fabrication industry.">
  • Proficient in managing production machinery, tooling, and quality control processes, with a solid understanding of solar mounting structures and associated fabrication methods.">
  • Familiarity with ISO standards and quality management systems, as well as working knowledge of ERP systems, MS Excel, and production planning tools.">
  • Strong leadership skills, with a proven ability to manage shop floor teams and workflows, drive employee engagement, and foster a culture of innovation and excellence.">
