Oil Industry Strategist

Business Leadership Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced Business Manager to lead our Oil Additives business in the Indian subcontinent. This is a challenging role that requires strong leadership and business acumen to drive growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets in India, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers at different levels of the organization and identify new business opportunities
- Stay up-to-date with market trends and competitor activity, and provide recommendations for product development and marketing strategies
- Manage OEMs and industries: Identify potential target Indian OEM's within the Automotive industry & the industrial segment and work with them for promoting Evonik Oil Additive technologies / initiatives
- Select and manage sales channels for customers and segments in the region
- Collaborate closely with departments such as key account management, technical service, product management, customer service, supply chain, marketing services, and business development
- Conduct market research activities e.g. perform market analysis, competitor analysis, product placement analysis, local or regional price level analysis
- Participate in fairs, conferences, customer events, and support customer satisfaction surveys
Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering with minimum 5 years of relevant experience
- Basic knowledge of lubricants and its application is preferred
