Job Description:

  • We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Collections Expert to lead our national collections strategy, ensuring minimal delinquency and optimal recovery rates across all asset products and geographies.
  • To drive the execution of collection strategies across secured and unsecured portfolios, focusing on compliance, efficiency, and innovation.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for safeguarding asset quality by managing internal and external stakeholders, and developing annual collection budgets and resource plans.
  • Key performance metrics will include credit cost, portfolio-wise resolution rates, and cost of collections. Regular performance updates and recovery projections will be presented to senior management.
  • The ideal candidate will have 20–22 years of core experience in retail lending collections, preferably at a National level role in large banks/NBFCs handling secured and unsecured portfolios.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Graduate or Postgraduate degree with certifications in Credit/Collections/Analytics preferred (Not mandatory)
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with ability to motivate large teams across multiple locations.
