Job Title: Data Analyst

 

We are seeking a skilled professional to review mapping data for digital applications.

Your analytical capabilities will validate and ensure that navigation of certain routes is accurate and safe.

As part of this role, you will verify business names and opening hours are correct. You will check the distance from a starting point to an end destination is listed accurately resulting in better user experiences.

With this job, you can plan your days around a flexible working schedule, work weekends or late evenings, all from the comfort of your own office.

The flexibility of our roles minimises the impact on your daily routine.

You will conduct analysis across verticals to provide actionable insights and recommendations that drive strategic and operational decision-making.

Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop dashboards and reports to monitor business health and identify improvement opportunities.

Work with stakeholders to identify gaps in data collection, quality and hygiene, analysis, reporting, and implement solutions to address these challenges.

Collaborate with various teams to support data-driven initiatives and help troubleshoot issues.

Design and analyse experiments to test hypotheses and guide decision-making, ensuring data-driven changes are effectively implemented.

Take on additional projects as needed, demonstrating flexibility and a collaborative spirit to support an agile environment.

Drive the development and execution of analytics strategies, collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather insights, track key performance metrics, and derive actionable conclusions to support business objectives.

Candidate Requirements:

 

A Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.

Proficiency in data analysis and visualisation tools such as SQL, Python/R, Tableau, Excel; understanding of database management.

Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvement.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.

Adaptability: Comfortable working in an evolving startup environment and willing to take on additional responsibilities as required.

Tech Stack & Skills Required:

 

Data Analytics, Python, SQL, Tableau/Power BI (visualisation tool), Dashboard building from scratch, Providing actionable insights and recommendations in decision-making (strategic and operational).

This role requires strong analytical skills, with the ability to extract insights from data and communicate findings effectively.
