Job Description:

  • We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Expert to design, develop, and manage efficient software solutions using Python and Java within the Cisco NSO platform.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for writing high-quality, maintainable code and overseeing the complete software development lifecycle.
  • This role requires effective implementation of algorithms and data structures to solve complex computing problems.
  • The ideal candidate will maintain software performance through thorough debugging, performance tuning, and continuous optimization.
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to ensure successful deployment and support of applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor development teams to promote best coding practices and continuous improvement.
  • Handle end-to-end technical responsibilities including design, development, and integration.
  • Apply data modeling using YANG and manage backend components like MySQL and ElasticSearch.
  • Leverage expertise in multithreading, memory management, and networking protocols to develop robust applications.
  • E nsure seamless integration on Unix/Linux platforms with focus on networking protocol support.

Requirements:

  • Possess strong knowledge of Python, Java, and related technologies.
  • Experience with Cisco NSO and its ecosystem is preferred.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
