Empowering Students through Informed Career Choices

The role of a Career Counselor is pivotal in guiding students toward making informed decisions about their career paths.

You will play a key part in facilitating this process by introducing the Career Guidance Cell to grade IX parents and students, conducting regular interventions from grade IX to XII.

Your expertise will be instrumental in matching students with careers that align with their abilities, interests, and skills.

You will coordinate all CGC-related activities, including career assessments, Walk the Talk sessions, university visits, and career fairs.

  1. Regularly interact with students and parents from Grade IX to XII, capturing one-on-one interactions and providing personalized guidance.
  2. Observe students in class throughout the year, recording student-wise observations and identifying areas for improvement.
  3. Liaise with professionals and experts in various domains for career talks and provide opportunities for students to engage with industry leaders.
  4. Provide timely data and monthly MIS reports to the CGC and core office, ensuring seamless coordination and communication.
  5. Educate each grade XI student on summer internships and their benefits, helping them gain practical experience and build their portfolios.
  6. Ensure each grade XI and XII student writes a MOCK SOP and MOCK SAT, preparing them for standardized tests and college applications.
  7. Conduct career assessments, analyzing data student-wise and providing actionable insights for students and parents.
  8. Network with college/university counselors, fostering partnerships and collaborations that benefit students.
  9. Attend career workshops and events, staying updated on the latest trends and admission processes, and sharing knowledge with colleagues and students.

This role requires a deep understanding of career development principles, excellent communication skills, and a passion for empowering students to achieve their goals.
