Senior Director of Banking and Finance Transformation

We are seeking an experienced leader to oversee a large-scale delivery portfolio, lead a team of professionals focused on serving Banking and Finance clients in the Data & AI space.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in management consulting, presales, and stakeholder management, along with proven experience in delivering complex projects to clients.

1. Project Delivery Management
   • Oversee end-to-end delivery across a portfolio of projects within the Banking and Finance sector.
   • Manage and lead a large team of resources, ensuring timely delivery, quality standards, and effective project governance.
   • Continuously monitor and improve delivery processes and methodologies to drive operational efficiency.
2. Stakeholder Engagement
   • Serve as the primary point of contact for senior client stakeholders, including C-level executives.
   • Build strong relationships with clients to understand their strategic objectives and ensure alignment with delivered solutions.
   • Act as a trusted advisor, providing proactive solutions and insights to drive client success.
3. Management Consulting Expertise
   • Provide expert consulting services to Banking and Finance clients, assisting them in transforming their business processes and IT strategies.
   • Identify opportunities to enhance service offerings and help clients navigate digital transformation and Data & AI initiatives.
4. Sales and Business Development
   • Lead Sales activities, including solution design, proposal development, and client presentations.
   • Drive the expansion of the portfolio by identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing client accounts.
5. Financial Acumen
   • Own financial performance, including revenue, margin, and cost optimization.
   • Monitor and control project budgets, identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising delivery quality.
6. Team Leadership and Development
   • Lead, mentor, and motivate a diverse team of project managers, consultants, and technical professionals.
   • Foster a high-performance culture through continuous learning, development, and employee engagement.
7. Process Improvement and Innovation
   • Continuously assess and enhance delivery frameworks, methodologies, and tools to increase project efficiency and effectiveness.
   • Drive innovation by adopting emerging technologies and best practices in IT service delivery.
   Key Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field. MBA or other relevant advanced degrees are preferred.
• Experience:
  • 18+ years of experience in IT services / Management Consulting, with at least 10 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of managing a large-scale portfolio in the Banking and Finance domain focusing on Data & AI service offerings
  • Experience in managing large teams of professionals across multiple locations.
  • Strong expertise in Banking and Finance, stakeholder management and delivery.
  • Prior experience Sales and business development, including successful client engagements.

• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate with clients and stakeholders.
