Nouria is seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Luxury Fashion Category Developer to drive the growth and profitability of our premium fashion category in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the luxury fashion market, exceptional vendor management skills, and proven experience in category development and merchandising within the premium fashion segment.

Job Summary:
The Senior Luxury Fashion Category Developer will be responsible for developing and executing a growth strategy for the fashion category, aligned with the brand's vision. This includes identifying new product opportunities, curating collections that cater to luxury fashion consumers, and building relationships with high-end designers and fashion brands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Category Strategy & Growth:
- Develop and execute a growth strategy for the fashion category, aligned with the brand's vision.
- Identify new product opportunities and curate collections that cater to luxury fashion consumers.
- Build and maintain relationships with high-end designers and fashion brands.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and exclusivity deals to ensure mutually beneficial partnerships.
- Curate a trend-driven yet timeless product range that resonates with the brand's target audience.
- Ensure a balance between seasonal trends and core collection staples.
- Monitor category performance through KPIs such as sales, margins, and inventory turnover.
- Identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and improving average order value (AOV).
- Collaborate with marketing teams to create impactful campaigns for new launches, sales events, and promotions.
- Plan and execute promotional activities for key occasions and festivals.
- Analyze customer feedback, market trends, and competitor performance to refine the category strategy.
- Stay updated on emerging trends in luxury and premium fashion.
Requirements:
- Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- MBA or a postgraduate degree in Fashion Management is a plus.
- Experience:
- 4–5 years of experience in category management or merchandising within the premium fashion space.
- Prior experience with platforms like Nykaa, Pernia's Pop-Up Shop, or Aza is highly desirable.
- Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to drive data-informed decisions.
- Excellent negotiation and vendor management capabilities.
- Deep understanding of luxury fashion trends, customer preferences, and high-end product curation.
- Proficiency in category management tools and analytics platforms.
- Attributes:
- Passionate about fashion and luxury.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to manage cross-functional teams and designer relationships.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
Salary: ₹1200000 - ₹1800000 per annum
