Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Data Engineer to join our team. This is a key role that involves designing and implementing scalable data processing systems.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in data engineering, with strong expertise in Python and PySpark. They should also possess a deep understanding of Big Data concepts and technologies, particularly those used in GCP.

This role requires the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a remote team. The successful candidate will be able to explain how data flows through IoT units and how sensors are designed and monitored.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable data processing systems using Python and PySpark.
  • Analyze and optimize existing data processing pipelines for improved performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize business requirements.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality documentation of data processing systems and related processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering.
  • Strong expertise in Python and PySpark.
  • Deep understanding of Big Data concepts and technologies.
  • Experience working with GCP.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a remote team.
