Lead System Development Specialist

Job Description

New Wash System Development Opportunities

As a key member of our system development team, you will be responsible for leading the development of innovative wash systems for washing machines and dryers in India and globally. Your expertise will drive the creation of high-performance wash systems that meet customer requirements and expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement new wash system designs for washing machines and dryers

• Apply analytical tools to develop unique selling propositions (USPs) and algorithms for home appliances

• Identify and mitigate potential risks through design for manufacturing and assembly (DFMEA)

• Troubleshoot and resolve system-level issues

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer and process partner requirements are met

• Stay up-to-date with customer and market expectations

Requirements:

• Experience in product/technology development and testing in the home appliances domain

• Knowledge of global energy and performance standards (AHAM, IEC 60456, IS Standards)

• Strong theoretical knowledge of fluid dynamics and detergent chemistry

• Excellent communication, project management, and teamwork skills

• Willingness to travel within India, South Korea, or other parts of the world for short or long durations

Desired Skills:

• Proficiency in system programming languages, with Python being preferred

• In-depth knowledge of interfacing sensors (analog and digital)

• Experience with design/CAD software and refrigeration/air conditioning cycles

• Exposure to Six-Sigma methodologies (black belt certification is a plus)

• Working experience with global teams

• Korean language proficiency (speaking, reading, and writing) is an added advantage
