We are looking for a detail-oriented professional to join our compliance team as an Anti-Money Laundering Specialist.

Key Responsibilities
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and reviewing transactions to detect and prevent financial crimes.
  • Identify suspicious patterns or anomalies in client transactions and activities, analyzing the data to identify potential risks.
  • Perform due diligence on new and existing clients, ensuring adherence to Know Your Customer (KYC) principles and regulatory requirements.
  • Review alerts generated by transaction monitoring systems and escalate high-risk cases for further analysis and investigation.
  • Maintain accurate records of investigations, risk assessments, and reporting for audit and compliance purposes.
  • Prepare and submit Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs) as needed.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with AML policies and procedures, enhancing the overall quality of service.
Required Skills & Competencies
  • Strong knowledge of AML regulations, KYC processes, and transaction monitoring techniques.
  • Excellent investigative, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, MS Office applications, and other relevant tools.
  • In-depth understanding of financial markets, products, and services, including anti-money laundering strategies.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Law, or a related field, with AML certification preferred.
