Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Financial Planning and Analysis Professional to join our team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a highly skilled individual to drive strategic financial decision-making, improve operational efficiency, and contribute to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Reporting & Dashboarding:

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive real-time financial dashboards across profit centers, providing actionable insights into key performance indicators.
  • Generate weekly/monthly/quarterly P&L reports, cash flow summaries, customer grading, and expense trackers, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Reconcile ERP data with financial reports to identify areas for improvement and optimize business processes.

2. Business Intelligence & Analytics:

  • Create dynamic reports on sales trends, gross margin analysis, and operational KPIs, enabling data-driven decisions.
  • Monitor product/category-wise/customer-wise profitability, identifying opportunities for growth and optimization.
  • Track cost variances, overhead allocation, and production yield efficiencies, facilitating informed strategic planning.

3. Working Capital & Liquidity Management:

  • Analyze inventory cycles, debtor-creditor ageing, and stock rotation metrics to optimize working capital and minimize risk.
  • Generate insights for working capital optimization, supporting planning and procurement strategies.
  • Prepare rolling cash flow forecasts, ensuring alignment with treasury goals and objectives.

4. Strategic Forecasting & Modelling:

  • Build forward-looking models for revenue, production, and raw material cost volatility, particularly in gold.
  • Run financial simulations to assess the impact of new product launches or large B2B orders, informing strategic investment decisions.
  • Assist in budget formulation and variance reporting, ensuring transparency and accountability.

5. Board Presentation & Director Support:

  • Develop high-impact financial snapshots and visual MIS reports for Board Meetings, presenting key findings and recommendations.
  • Provide insights directly to Directors on cost overruns, profit pressures, or investment viability, facilitating informed decision-making.
  • Ensure data integrity and transparency in all board-level reports, upholding the highest standards of professionalism.

6. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate closely with Accounts, Sales, Purchase, Stores, and Production teams, fostering a culture of teamwork and communication.
  • Standardize reporting templates across departments and locations, enhancing consistency and efficiency.
  • Train and supervise junior analysts to enhance the efficiency of data operations, promoting professional development and growth.

Requirements:

- Education: CA / MBA (Finance) / CFA / M.Com with a strong background in data analytics

- Experience: 6+ years in financial analysis, data mining, and engineering, preferably in manufacturing

- Tools Expertise: SQL (Essential), Advanced Excel, Power BI / Tableau, ERP systems
