About this Role

  • We're looking for a talented engineer to own test automation end-to-end, UI, APIs, and pipelines. You'll write clean code, ship high-quality tests, and keep us shipping fast without breaking stuff.
  • You will be responsible for building UI test flows with Playwright, automating backend/API tests using Postman or equivalent tools, writing smoke tests, regression suites, kill switches, and sanity checks.
  • Additionally, you will wire all these tests into GitHub pipelines for auto-validation, debug failing builds, isolate bugs, log them fast, and sync with developers, product managers, and releases to stay ahead of the curve.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Build scalable and maintainable UI test flows with Playwright.
  • Automate backend/API tests using Postman or equivalent tools.
  • Write high-quality smoke tests, regression suites, kill switches, and sanity checks.
  • Wire tests into GitHub pipelines for auto-validation.
  • Debug failing builds, isolate bugs, and log them fast.
  • Sync with developers, product managers, and releases to stay ahead of the curve.

What You Need:

  • Strong programming skills in JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Hands-on experience with modern UI automation tools.
  • Solid understanding of API testing, version control, and test lifecycle.
  • Experience with CI/CD systems (GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
  • Proficiency in writing, maintaining, and debugging automated test scripts.
  • Familiarity with performance testing tools (K6, JMeter) is a plus.
