Contract Associate Job Description

The Legal Contract Associate position is a crucial role in our contract management team, requiring attention to detail and proactive communication skills.

As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for drafting and reviewing NDAs, SOWs, Amendments, and Change Requests using designated tools, ensuring accuracy and legal soundness.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Contract Drafting & Review: Utilize knowledge of internal standards and policies to draft and review contractual documents, guaranteeing compliance and clarity.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather inputs, clarify requirements, and ensure alignment on contractual terms.
  • Approval Management: Proactively secure necessary approvals for both draft and final contract versions, ensuring timely completion to prevent execution delays.
  • Tracking & Compliance: Maintain internal trackers and databases to reflect contract status, milestones, and changes, ensuring all documentation meets regulatory standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications

This role requires relevant contract / legal experience and strong communication skills. Key qualifications include:

  • Education: Bachelor of Law (LLB)
  • Experience: Relevant contract / legal experience preferred
  • Skills: Contract drafting, stakeholder management, contract lifecycle understanding, communication, and tool proficiency
