Chief Risk Management Specialist

This is a leadership role that involves developing and executing wholesale risk governance and practices. We are seeking an experienced professional who can scale a new Centre of Excellence for Wholesale Rating Models from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish and grow a team of skilled modelers and consultants.
- Design and implement end-to-end processes for development, validation, and lifecycle management of Wholesale Rating Models.
- Develop and validate range of models including Corporate/Wholesale Rating Models.
- Mandatory skills include strong foundation in Statistics and Mathematics, hands-on experience in developing and validating Wholesale Rating Models, and deep understanding of model lifecycle best practices.
- Strong programming languages such as R and Python, and proficiency in data analysis and visualization using Excel and PowerPoint.
- Hold degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Quantitative Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related field.
- 10-15 years of progressive, multi-discipline risk management experience within banking sector.
- Desirable qualifications include postgraduate or professional qualification in risk management or finance, experience of developing teams in multi-jurisdictional organization, and understanding and experience of BCBS frameworks.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about risk management and advancing the science of credit risk modeling. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly, and outstanding interpersonal and influencing skills.
