Business Advisory Services Associate

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Advisory Services Associate to join our team at Ares Management Corporation.
As a key member of our Business Advisory Services team, you will be responsible for assisting in the development of client materials and marketing materials, as well as updating market and fund specific data on a monthly, quarterly or ad hoc basis.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal subject matter experts, including portfolio management, business development, operations, legal, compliance and human resources teams.
- Build and own client materials and various prospect/marketing materials, ensuring timely updates to reflect market environment and meet user needs.
- Collaborate with finance and portfolio management teams to produce quarterly portfolio reports and letters for investors.
- Drive process improvements for creating responses to investor questionnaires, due diligence, and ad-hoc requests.
- Maintain key metrics on competitors and identify areas of risk, proposing innovative business solutions to enhance information flow and communication channels.
- Support team members with ad-hoc projects and take on additional responsibilities as needed.
- Develop and edit marketing materials for co-investment and funds, including deal one pagers and case studies.
- Create deal capital call notices, deal tear sheets, and deal slides.
- Manage and update deal pipeline information.
Requirements
Education:
- CFA or Bachelor's or Master's degree in business, finance, or another pre-professional field, or a discipline with exposure to accounting or corporate finance.
Experience:
- 3–5/6-8 years of experience in an investor relations or product specialist role.
General Requirements:
- Detail-oriented individual with experience in asset management systems or relational databases.
- Self-starter with outstanding communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and digital literacy.
