Job Description

As a Lead Design Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Designing and developing tools and accessories for Tata Motors' vehicles
  • Collaborating with suppliers to ensure design clarifications and engineering support
  • Creating concept designs to finalization of parts for tools and accessories
  • Interacting with vehicle engineering teams for verification and testing on vehicle

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Experience with PROE-CREO solid modelling, drawing creation, surfacing, and assemblies
  • Knowledge of tool design practices, automobile/vehicle engineering systems, manufacturing processes, GD&T, DFMEA, and testing processes
  • Good communication skills and coordination abilities
  • Understanding of quality processes and ability to work alone and in a team environment
