We are seeking a dynamic Senior Project Associate to contribute to our Cities and Urban Landscape initiatives. This role is ideal for a professional with a passion for creating vibrant and accessible urban spaces.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the development and execution of urban landscape and complete streets projects, ensuring adherence to timelines.
- Conduct site visits and gather data to inform project planning and design.
- Assist in the preparation of design concepts, presentations, and reports related to complete street projects.
- Coordinate with stakeholders, including government agencies, community groups, and consultants, to ensure effective project implementation.
- Organize and facilitate community consultations and workshops to gather valuable feedback.
- Research best practices in urban landscape design and complete streets, supporting project development.
- Collect and analyze data to evaluate project outcomes and inform future initiatives.
- Prepare project documentation, progress reports, and presentations.
- Logistical coordination of project-related events and activities.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Urban Planning, Urban Design, Landscape Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in urban planning, landscape design, or project coordination.
- Solid understanding of urban planning principles and sustainable development practices.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, GIS) is desirable.
