Job Title: Document Review Specialist

About the position:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Document Review Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong writing, proofreading, and editing skills, with experience reviewing financial statements for an accounting firm.

This is a unique opportunity to work in a collaborative environment, utilizing technology to ensure high-quality client deliverables.

The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and proofreading audit reports and financial statements for accuracy, with attention to detail and adherence to standard format.

Apart from this, the candidate will participate in a robust quality control process to ensure the accuracy of audit reports and financial statements.

Key areas of focus include, but may not be limited to:

  • Reviewing and proofreading documents for accuracy and consistency
  • Participating in quality control processes to ensure high-quality deliverables
  • Utilizing multiple software tools to keep workflow efficient and paperless

Responsibilities:

  • Review and edit financial statements, including data verification, formatting, and compliance with industry standards
  • Collaborate with teams to produce customizations and modifications to reports and financial statements
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency across all deliverables
  • Learn and utilize new software tools to enhance efficiency and productivity

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably with an accounting firm
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results
