Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Rebar Estimation and Verification Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing and verifying rebar estimates prepared by the estimation team to ensure accuracy, compliance with industry standards, and alignment with project requirements.

This is a detail-oriented position that requires strong analytical skills and attention to quality. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, experience with rebar detailing principles, bar bending schedules (BBS), and construction methodologies, as well as familiarity with rebar estimation software/tools and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Review and analyze rebar estimates to identify errors and discrepancies.
  • Verify accuracy in quantities, dimensions, and specifications of estimates.
  • Cross-check estimates against project plans, construction drawings, and technical specifications.
  • Ensure compliance with industry codes, standards, and client-specific requirements.
  • Identify and address discrepancies between project documentation and estimates.
  • Highlight errors, inconsistencies, or potential risks in estimates and recommend corrective actions.
  • Maintain organized records of reviewed estimates, drawings, and supporting documents.
  • Collaborate with the estimation team and project managers to resolve ambiguities and clarify requirements.
  • Suggest process improvements and best practices to enhance efficiency of estimation workflows.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Minimum of 5–6 years in rebar estimation and verification.
  • Strong exposure to rebar detailing principles, bar bending schedules (BBS), and construction methodologies.
  • Familiarity with rebar estimation software/tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
