The Record to Report (RTR) function encompasses all complex strategic and operational activities of general accounting for a specific Line of Business.

This role involves ensuring that the company's financial practices align with corresponding statutory regulations and legislation. The task includes providing timely and accurate reporting of financial results under strong control environment.

  • Process management, Month-end Closing, Monthly & Quarterly Reporting, Balance Sheet Reconciliations, Journal entries Preparation & Review, OneStream upload and multiple analysis and review & OneStream Reporting, etc.
  • Partnership with Business Finance and Stakeholders on strategic project and initiatives
  • Contribution towards continuous process improvement
  • Support and drive new system implementation / ERP go live or any enhancement project.
  • Owning a vertical / domain and taking complete ownership of Accounting & Reporting activities.
  • Ensuring adherence to SOX and internal controls and to the process landscape.
  • Support Audit and internal control testing and ensure compliance.
  • Maintaining regular connections with respective Business units and stakeholders.
  • Ensuring ethical and accounting principal compliance.
  • Ensuring a high standard of customer service and satisfaction is maintained

We are seeking a qualified professional who possesses:

  • A Chartered Accountant certification / CPA.
  • Extensive experience in Financial Accounting & Reporting domain.
  • Familiarity with US GAAP, Accounting and reporting related activities and workstreams.
  • Exposure in FP&A and business finance front end role in Manufacturing or Consultancy firms.
  • Experience with SAP, Oracle, HFM and One Stream reporting tool.
  • Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Presentation skills, creating PPTs and delivering presentations to Senior Leadership.
  • Leveraging Lean / Six Sigma certifications will be an added advantage.
