Job Title: SWIFT Application Architect

We are seeking a visionary SWITCH Application Architect and Strategist to lead the development and strategic direction of SWITCH applications, ensuring seamless and secure transaction processing within the acquiring (ATM, POS, eCommerce, branch, and internet banking) and health claiming (HiCAPS) domains.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Formulate and execute strategic plans for the development and enhancement of SWITCH applications to meet business objectives and industry standards within the acquiring and health claiming services domains.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers and team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
  • Act as a thought leader in the field, staying abreast of industry trends and technologies to ensure the SWITCH system remains cutting-edge and aligned with best practices.
  • Oversee the design, testing, and documentation of software enhancements and modifications, ensuring high standards of quality and performance.
  • Lead the analysis, troubleshooting, and resolution of issues related to SWITCH functionality, ensuring minimal disruption to transaction processing.
Qualifications:
  • Extensive experience in developing and enhancing SWITCH applications with a proven track record of strategic leadership within the acquiring (ATM, POS, eCommerce, branch, and internet banking) and health claiming (HiCAPS) services domains.
  • Demonstrated experience in designing, testing, and documenting complex software systems.
  • Proven ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues effectively.
  • Experience in leading teams and mentoring junior developers.
  • Strong background in integrating applications with existing systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in the financial services or payment processing industry, specifically within acquiring and health claiming services.
  • Familiarity with modern software development practices and frameworks.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications in software development, architecture, or related fields.
