Job Title: Technical Lead - Java Developer

About the Job:

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Lead - Java Developer to join our team at Wilco Source Technologies Pvt Ltd. As a Technical Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of developers, designing and implementing scalable solutions, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality software products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Full Stack Development: Oversee the full stack development of web applications, managing both the frontend and backend components.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of developers, ensuring the adoption of best practices and high-quality code standards.
  • Design and Architecture: Design and architect scalable and maintainable solutions, translating business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Code Review and Quality Assurance: Conduct code reviews to maintain code quality, performance, and security. Ensure that the development team adheres to coding standards and best practices.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure alignment with technical solutions.
  • Agile Development: Lead the team in Agile/Scrum processes, managing sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to ensure timely delivery of projects.
  • Troubleshooting and Debugging: Identify and resolve technical issues, ensuring high availability and reliability of applications.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives in the development process, tools, and technologies.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for architecture, design, and code.

Requirements:

  • 7-15 Years of experience in full stack development, with a focus on Java technologies.
  • 3+ years of experience in a technical leadership or lead developer role.
  • Proven ability to lead a team and deliver high-quality software products on time.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Technical Skills:

  • Java Backend Development: Extensive experience in backend development using Java, including frameworks such as Spring Boot, Hibernate, and JPA.
  • Frontend Development: Proficiency in frontend development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks like Angular or React.
  • RESTful APIs: Experience in designing, developing, and consuming RESTful APIs.
  • Database Management: Strong knowledge of relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle) and experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
  • Version Control: Proficiency with version control systems like Git, and familiarity with platforms like GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket.
  • Build Tools: Experience with build tools and package managers (e.g., Maven, Gradle, npm, Yarn).
  • CICD Pipelines: Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
  • Testing: Experience with unit testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit, Mockito) and end-to-end testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress).

Good to Have Skills:

  • Microservices Architecture: Knowledge of microservices architecture and experience in building and deploying microservices.
  • Cloud Platforms: Experience with cloud services and platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), including containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • DevOps Practices: Understanding of DevOps practices for automated deployment, monitoring, and operations.
  • Security Best Practices: Knowledge of security best practices, including authentication, authorization, and secure coding standards.
  • Performance Optimization: Experience in optimizing application performance and scalability.
  • GraphQL: Familiarity with GraphQL for API development.
  • Agile Tools: Familiarity with Agile project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
