Senior Consultant Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Consultant to lead our team of data scientists in delivering complex models and addressing business problems.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in machine learning, NLP, reinforcement learning, and deep learning to enhance search, browse, autocomplete, and recommendations experiences.

The role involves building, deploying, and maintaining predictive models for search relevance, query understanding, ranking, personalization, product sale forecasting, and product recommendation systems.

This is a highly autonomous and accountable position that requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.

Excellent communication and presentation skills are essential for communicating analytical solutions to non-technical stakeholders and senior leadership.

About the Role

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Lead a team of data scientists to deliver complex models and address business problems.
  2. Apply expertise in machine learning, NLP, reinforcement learning, and deep learning to enhance search, browse, autocomplete, and recommendations experiences.
  3. Build, deploy, and maintain predictive models for search relevance, query understanding, ranking, personalization, product sale forecasting, and product recommendation systems.
  4. Manage multiple projects independently with high autonomy and accountability.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
  6. Communicate analytical solutions to non-technical stakeholders and senior leadership.
Requirements

Key Requirements:

  1. 6+ years in machine learning and statistical modeling in e-commerce or related environments.
  2. Expertise in traditional and modern machine learning techniques (regression, classification, ensemble methods, deep learning, reinforcement learning).
  3. Effective communication and presentation of complex quantitative analyses.
  4. Prior experience working in the e-commerce sector is a plus.
  5. Bachelor's or master's degree in data science, computer science, statistics, or a related field from a reputable institution.
