Structural Design Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented professional to join our team in structural design.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create 3D models that meet industry guidelines and company standards using Revit/BIM project delivery.
  • Develop detailed 2D production drawings in accordance with company standards, showcasing expertise in AutoCAD software.
  • Oversee the BIM workflow, including folder organization, sheet sets, geo-location, plots, conversions, and transmittals.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date structural BIM/CAD files for use in structural design drawings (clean-up, audit, reference, troubleshooting).
  • Collaborate with engineers and clients to coordinate BIM modeling content and approaches, model exchanges, quality control, and delivery.
  • Utilize tools such as Navisworks for project collaboration across multiple disciplines.
  • Prepare and review project deliverables for client submissions, ensuring timely and high-quality output.
  • Create 3D views or renderings on an as-needed basis for marketing or project use, effectively communicating design concepts.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 0-3 years of experience in preparing structural construction documents.
  • Up-to-date knowledge and expertise with Revit and AutoCAD software.
  • Strong understanding of how a building comes together, with ability to think in 3-D.
  • Ability to draw sections and details with minimal input from the engineer.
  • Proficiency in written and verbal communication skills.
  • A strong work ethic and willingness to be part of a team.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is mandatory.
  • Professional experience in AutoCAD and Revit is also mandatory.
