MAUI Android Lead Job Description

We are seeking an experienced MAUI Android Lead for our Chennai and Indore location in India. The successful candidate will have at least 8-10 years of experience in software development, with a proven track record of leading development teams.

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of C# and Android development, as well as mandatory multi-platform app UI expertise. They will also be familiar with modern software architectures, such as microservices, and cloud technologies like Azure.

This role involves understanding existing systems, migrating shared/common codebase while ensuring compatibility with the Windows environment, designing and implementing a modern mobile UI/UX layer, and tackling complex development and integration challenges.

In this position, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional and international teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery. You will also communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, set technical direction, and maintain coding best practices within the team.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and understand the current application, including business logic, workflows, and technical constraints.
  • Migrate shared/common codebase while ensuring compatibility with the Windows environment.
  • Design and implement a modern mobile UI/UX layer that aligns with existing business processes.
  • Tackle complex development and integration challenges with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Requirements:

  • At least 8-10 years of experience in software development.
  • Proven experience in leading development teams.
  • Extensive knowledge of C# and Android development.
  • Mandatory multi-platform app UI expertise.
  • Familiarity with modern software architectures (e.g., microservices).
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies and services (e.g., Azure).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to overcome technical challenges.
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Experience in creating technical documentation and architecture specifications.
