Job Title: Automotive Software Engineer Senior

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced senior software engineer to join our team and lead the development of high-performance automotive software solutions.

The successful candidate will possess a strong background in embedded software development, with expertise in C and Assembly programming, as well as experience working with operating systems and multi-processor concepts.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design, develop, and test high-quality automotive software solutions that meet customer requirements and industry standards.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project goals and objectives.
  3. Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, code comments, and testing plans.
  4. Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
  5. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, and apply this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement within the team.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field, and 2+ years of software engineering experience, or Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field, and 1+ year of software engineering experience.
  • Strong understanding of C and Assembly programming, with experience working with operating systems and multi-processor concepts.
  • Experience with embedded software development, including low-level drivers and RTOS.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as C, C++, Java, or Python.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with ARM or similar cores, and knowledge of ARM Trust-Zone and ARMv7/v8 architecture.
  • Hands-on experience with driver development on any RTOS, including SafeRTOS/FreeRTOS based development.
  • Knowledge of Autosar MCAL development, and experience with Autosar BSW integration and validation.
  • Understanding of hardware blocks, including Clocks, PLLs, GPIO, Interrupt Controllers (GIC), Peripherals (SPI/I2C/UART/CAN/Ethernet/Clock/etc).
  • Automotive SW development experience is a must-have, with ISO26262/functional safety and ASPICE being highly desirable.
