Futures Research Position

The Futures Research position plays a pivotal role in guiding Woxsen University's efforts in future studies, scenario planning, and global foresight. This esteemed position will position Woxsen as a thought-leader in shaping strategies for emerging global challenges.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish the Woxsen Future Studies Center: Develop a comprehensive framework for futures thinking and foresight-driven research.
  • Conduct Annual Foresight Reports: Analyze and publish reports on global trends in technology, geopolitics, and sustainability.
  • Teach Graduate Courses: Deliver courses in futures thinking, policy foresight, and scenario planning to enhance students' analytical skills.
  • Collaborate with External Partners: Work with governments, think tanks, and corporations on strategic foresight projects to foster innovation and growth.
  • Mentor Research Fellows: Provide guidance and support to doctoral students and research fellows in foresight studies.
  • Represent Woxsen Internationally: Engage with global foresight and innovation forums to establish Woxsen's reputation as a thought leader.
Qualifications
  • PhD in Relevant Field: Hold a doctoral degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Policy, Strategic Management, or a related field.
  • Distinguished Publication Record: Maintain an internationally recognized publication record, showcasing expertise in foresight and innovation.
  • Proven Experience: Demonstrate proven experience in policy advisory, foresight consulting, or global think tanks.
  • Strong Global Networks: Possess strong academic and industry networks, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing.
