Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare design deliverables including Design Basis, Instrumentation & Control system.
  • Develop specifications for Instrument Index and I/O List, Functional loop schematics, and Logic Diagrams, Inst. Datasheets
  • Create installation drawings and hookups, inst. location lay outs, cable tray lay outs, control room lay outs, cable and Junction Box Schedule, wiring and interconnection drawings, Loop Wiring Diagram, MTO, Construction/Erection Tender, CAPEX support etc.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary activities such as P&ID review and update, 3D Model review, IDR/IDC, cable tray layouts, equipment layouts, instrumentation layout

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience in instrument sizing including control valve sizing (InstruCalc, CONVAL), flow meter sizing, safety valve sizing, air and power consumption calculations, thermowell wake freq. calculations, UPS sizing, transformer sizing, cable tray sizing, cable sizing
  • Familiarity with relevant codes and standards applicable to FMCG Plants and NEC standards
  • Knowledge of wiring schemes for ESD/DCS and RTU/SCADA hardware specification
  • Instrument selection expertise including all types of field instruments and exposure to selection of instruments and systems for Hazardous areas
