Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Machine Learning Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machine learning and software engineering.

  • Develop and maintain large-scale machine learning systems for our marketplace app.
  • Apply advanced machine learning technology to enhance user experience, safety, and convenience.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement machine learning algorithms and models to improve recommendation systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design solutions and implement features that enhance user engagement.
  • Conduct data analysis and experimentation to drive insights that refine recommendation algorithms.
  • Deploy scalable and efficient recommendation solutions using machine learning frameworks.
  • Monitor system performance and conduct A/B testing to evaluate feature effectiveness.
Requirements

The ideal candidate should have:

  • Over 2+ years of professional experience in developing large-scale ML systems in production.
  • Strong experience in end-to-end machine learning solution development, including backend engineering and MLOps.
  • Experience with common machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) and libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, NumPy, pandas).
  • Deep understanding of machine learning and software engineering fundamentals.
  • Basic knowledge and skills related to monitoring system, logging, and common operations in production environment.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with multiple teams and stakeholders.
Preferred Skills

The following skills are highly desirable:

  • Experience in anomaly detection and content moderation system development.
  • Functional development and bug fixing skills to improve system performance and reliability.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure), and microservice development.
  • Utilizing deep learning models/LLMs in production.
  • Experience in publications at top-tier peer-reviewed conferences or journals.
