Job Title: Actuarial Analyst

About the Role

This role involves working as a member of the Leap R Migration Team. The team's primary objective is to replace SAS and R as the experience studies calculation engine for LH (excluding North America).

The candidate will be responsible for migrating existing studies to Leap R, handling data preparation and process documentation, delivering experience analyses for stakeholders, including experience studies, pricing, and valuation.


Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and deliver experience studies with Leap R, migrated from existing solutions, in collaboration with local experience studies teams
  • Achieve annual migration targets
  • Validate and reconcile study results with those previously conducted using SAS or R
  • Analyze and interpret findings, formulate and communicate conclusions
  • Follow established processes, frameworks, and standard operating procedures for the Leap R Migration Team
  • Ensure migration aligns with global experience studies methodology and standards
  • Build strong collaboration with cross-regional and central teams to ensure alignment with global actuarial approaches

Essentials
  • Technical knowledge in pricing, experience studies, and product development
  • Fundamental understanding of insurance/reinsurance products and services
  • 1+ years of actuarial experience in LH reinsurance, primary insurance, or consulting
  • Experience with R programming language
  • Progress in actuarial exams (any recognized actuarial institute)
  • Excellent organization and planning skills
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills
  • Comfortable interacting with colleagues across all levels and geographies
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team
  • Strong analytical skills
