- Role Overview – North America Actuarial Transformation
Role Overview:
We are seeking a candidate with strong actuarial or analytics experience to be a part of our North America Actuarial Transformation team.
In this role, you will support the transformation efforts for the North America Actuarial function by developing and maintaining systems and data science tools that enhance actuarial and analytical capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, enhance, and maintain actuarial tools and models that support various actuarial and analytical processes.
- Collaborate with actuaries and team members to understand their needs and implement effective solutions that improve reporting and analytics capabilities.
- Utilize programming languages and software tools (such as SQL, Python, R, or Excel) to automate data processing and analysis tasks.
- Conduct rigorous data analyses and assist in the interpretation of results to support business strategies and decisions.
- Streamline reporting processes by designing user-friendly dashboards and visualizations that effectively communicate findings to stakeholders.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to tackle complex data challenges creatively.
- Two to five years of experience in an actuarial or analytical role
- Strong IT skills, with proficiency in programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R) and experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Qlik).
- Solid understanding of actuarial principles, methodologies, and the insurance or finance industry.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to ensuring data accuracy and quality.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
