Platform Architect

We are seeking a seasoned Platform Architect to join our team. As a key member of our cloud infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and optimizing Kubernetes-based platforms for large-scale production workloads.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Deploy: Design and deploy scalable and highly available Kubernetes clusters on multi-cloud environments (Azure, AWS).
  • Kubernetes Security: Implement DevSecOps best practices to enhance the security and reliability of Kubernetes clusters.
  • Environment Management: Manage Kubernetes environments across multiple clouds with a focus on resilience and high availability.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership in architecting, scaling, and troubleshooting Kubernetes ecosystems.
  • Automation Strategies: Develop automation strategies using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Helm, and Ansible.
  • Compliance and Monitoring: Work with security teams to ensure compliance with industry security standards and best practices, and define and implement observability and monitoring using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack.
  • Incident Response: Lead incident response and root cause analysis for Kubernetes-related production issues.
  • Tech Guidance: Guide and mentor engineering teams on Kubernetes, service mesh, and container security.
QualificationsRequired Qualifications:
  • Experience: 10+ years of industry experience in cloud infrastructure, container orchestration, and DevSecOps.
  • Kubernetes Expertise: 4+ years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production environments.
  • Security Knowledge: Strong knowledge of Kubernetes security, RBAC, Network Policies, and admission controllers.
  • Multicloud Experience: Experience working in Multi-cloud Environments (Azure, AWS Preferred).
  • Service Mesh: Hands-on experience with Istio or other service meshes.
  • Containerization: Expertise in containerization technologies like Docker.
  • CICD Pipelines: Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines (GitOps, ArgoCD, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar).
  • Kubernetes Storage and Networking: Experience with Kubernetes storage and networking in enterprise ecosystems.
  • Upgrade Strategies: Deep understanding of Kubernetes upgrade strategies, scaling, and optimization.
  • Certification: Must have CKA or CKS certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Edge Computing: Experience with edge computing and Kubernetes at the edge.
  • AI/ML Workloads: Familiarity with AI/ML workloads on Kubernetes.
  • Policy Governance: Hands-on experience with policy governance frameworks like OPA/Gatekeeper.
  • Serverless Architecture: Knowledge of serverless and event-driven architectures in Kubernetes.
  • Scripting Skills: Strong scripting skills in Python, Go, or Bash.
