Primary Purpose:
The Student Enrollment and Retention Specialist will play a pivotal role in increasing student enrollments and retaining students in the institution. This position provides guidance to prospective parents on selecting an appropriate curriculum for their ward.
Key Accountabilities/Activities:
- Supports admission conversions and achieves enrollment targets through effective strategies.
- Orients and guides new parents on the school's curriculum framework, ensuring a seamless experience.
- Provides detailed information about the board structure and integrated curriculum offered by the institution.
- Assists in identifying children with special needs and offers advice to their parents on additional support provided by the institution.
- Conducts campus tours for prospective parents, highlighting the variety of teaching initiatives undertaken by the institution.
- Offers personalized guidance to parents regarding academic eligibility requirements, appropriate board selection, academic policies, and delivery procedures.
- Maintains up-to-date knowledge about the institution's programs and requirements.
- Assists parents in admission registration, evaluates student admissibility, and provides guidance on the admission process.
- Addressing existing parents' queries and assisting in timely closure of issues raised by them.
Secondary Responsibilities:
- Manages the institution's alumni association and internship programs, maintaining data pertaining to alumni membership and engagement activities.
- Addresses and resolves academic grievances raised by parents to ensure high customer satisfaction, coordinating with internal teams to appraise parents on students' academic progress when needed.
Experience:
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in Marketing
- Prior experience in admission counseling for institutions will be an added advantage.
Qualification:
- Graduate in any stream/MBA
Expected Competencies:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience in group presentations is critical.
